KONSTANZ, Germany, 3 July 1996, Zeltfestival
The Tent Festival Konstanz is an annual music festival in Konstanz on Lake Constance that usually takes place in June in “Little Venice”. In the large beer garden on the lakeshore there is an open-air stage where regional greats present themselves. The Tent Festival was first held in 1995 and took a break between 2008 and 2014 because the event was no longer cost-effective. Thanks to the involvement of the cities of Konstanz and Kreuzlingen, the Tent Festival was revived in 2015 as a cross-border cultural event. From May 27 to June 5, 2016, the Tent Festival was again held exclusively in Konstanz.
National and international artists from a variety of genres performed in the covered main tent. Highlights in the main tent included performances by Bob Dylan, BB King, Michael Mittermeier, Gianna Nannini, Patricia Kaas, Al Jarreau, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, BAP and Jethro Tull.
Bob Dylan performed on 3 July 1996, Klein Venedig.
