Southampton College, the eastern most campus of Long Island University, opened in 1963 and closed in 2005. Located in an idyllic environmental setting on the Atlantic shore of Long Island, it had a nationally recognized marine science program that produced an unprecedented number of Fulbright awards and an impressive number of alumni who went on to careers in prestigious universities and research centers.
BOB DYLAN AND HIS BAND! ALL FOR THE SEA - THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT: The 19 August concert in Southampton, NY, Long Island was just part of the 2002 East Coast tour, but "ALL FOR THE SEA" was a Benefit for the marine and environmental sciences programs of Southampton College, which is a part of Long Island University.
Below is a bound (flat-spine) paperback 128-page 8"x10" magazine almost entirely filled with ads by benefactors. It does have three articles, two about the history of this benefit program and its founders, and one about Bob (unsigned) titled "Bob Dylan: He's an Artist, He don't Look Back."
