اکسیر means 'Elixir'. اکسیر EXIR MAGAZINE (as noted on the front cover) is an Iranian Cultural, Literary and Art magazine designed by Studio Melli.

The front cover shows Mohammad-Reza Shajarian (1940 – 2020) who was an Iranian singer and master of Persian traditional music. He was also known for his skills in Persian calligraphy and humanitarian activities.
After coming out in support of the Iranian Green Movement and criticizing the Iranian government, he was banned from holding concerts and releasing music.

Farsi, or Persian, Indo-European language written in the Arabic script, is
the language of Iran, with variants spoken in Afghanistan, Tajikistan and some neighbouring areas. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.
There are approximately 110 million Persian speakers worldwide. For centuries, Persian has also been a prestigious cultural language in other regions of Western Asia, Central Asia, and South Asia by the various empires based in the regions.
