The first issue is dated 20 January 1972. The publication date is always a Saturday. In its first year, POP JEUNESSE was a weekly newspaper.
In number 44 of December 2, 1972, the word «rock» is added in overprint to the logo of Pop Jeunesse.
The newspaper will be renamed POP ROCK, Volume 3, Number 16, on August 17, 1974.
The old logo of Pop Jeunesse cohabited with the new logo on the following eight editions and then removed at number 25 of December 21, 1974 with Jimmy Page frontispiece.
