THE RECORD, Canada, Quebec

      For more than a century, THE RECORD is of only two English-language daily newspapers in Quebec. When THE GAZETTE, LA TRIBUNE and LA VOIX DE L'EST ceased distribution of their Monday-Friday print editions in the Eastern Townships, THE RECORD became the only daily print newspaper, in either French or English, distributed in the Eastern Townships.
      Its name changed several times through the years.It is now called THE WATERLOO REGION RECORD
