BOB DYLAN - THE ORIGINAL
- SONGS NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED
This songbook presents 15 Bob Dylan songs from the early 60s, and unreleased as sung by him at the date of publication (see below), except for I Shall Be Free and Mixed Up Confusion. The arrangements by Dan Fox 'are based on actual performances of the songs, either by Dylan or other folk stars'.
There is no publication date on the songbook, but the essay at the end ("Time and Bob Dylan" by Paul Williams) is described as being "a year old" and the text of which says it was being written in August 1967. This suggests that BOB DYLAN THE ORIGINAL was published in 1968. There's also an introductory essay that refers to DONT LOOK BACK, which was first shown in 1967. (Thank you to Ian Woodward for the information)
Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Music, probably 1968. Arranged by Dan Fox, 15 songs, 48 pages.
