The 1969 "Bob Dylan Television Special" could have been really great... should it have happened.
It was an ambitious project, centred on Dylan only, with video documents and songs performed during the show (even a special one!), possibilities of a F-M stereo simulcast, a longer theatrical version and even the publication of a record of the soundtrack!... but for an unknown reason, the event never happened.
The only TV appearance of Bob Dylan in 1969 was in the Johnny Cash Show.

Described as "The Bob Dylan Television Special concept, 1969: hand typed, 10 pages plus 3 informational pages, by Robert Janes and John Tyers (writers for television series), with Writers Guild Of America ink stamp".
